How you can help to preserve this vital evidence for the future

This project to create a complete record all the Roman mosaics discovered in Britain has taken over a quarter of a century to plan, and is at last coming to fruition with the publication of the first volume. The distinctive feature of the catalogue is the reproduction of the mosaics in colour, which greatly enhances the value of the publication to scholars, but in order to achieve a reasonable published price it is necessary to raise money to subsidise the cost of colour printing.

ASPROM has helped to raise enough money to cover the publication costs so far. The authors would like to thank all those who have so generously contributed so far. All contributions of £100 and over will be acknowledged in the text.

We need your help to raise enough money to complete the project and secure the long-term future of the research archive created by David Neal and Stephen Cosh.

The project is not eligible for funding from the National Lottery under the existing rules.
